Nidec Electric Motor Serbia was established in Serbia in 2021.
We are looking for:
- An experienced and motivated Logistics Procurement Specialist to play a key role in development and implementation of optimization strategies of logistics procurement categories.
- A professional who is passionate about market analysis, negotiations with global suppliers and innovative solutions to improve processes
Your responsibilities:
- Analyze supplier costs and activities, and improve procurement, reporting, and evaluation processes
- Define and implement global strategies by coordinating with local and global teams, directing processes toward optimized and cost-efficient solutions
- Negotiate with local and global suppliers, lead and support negotiations to achieve the best contract terms, focusing on cost reduction and enhancing competitiveness
- Utilize advanced tools such as TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), Category Management, Strategy Sourcing, Cost Management, and Porter Forces Matrix to achieve strategic excellence in procurement
- Negotiate directly with ocean carriers and transportation companies across Europe to optimize transportation costs and secure terms that provide competitive advantages
- Optimize the procurement process to ensure legal and financial compliance, as well as achieving strategic goals through effective procurement process management
- Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) such as savings, payment terms, SLAs (Service Level Agreements), and supplier relationship management (SRM) KPIs to achieve objectives and improve supply chain efficiency
- Find and implement innovative solutions to reduce costs and improve services such as 4PL and Control Tower solutions, ocean freight consolidation, and other key transportation services
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement processes and policies, providing transparency, competitiveness, and meeting requirements for quality, deadlines, and specifications
Our requirements:
- University degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or Logistics
- Experience in logistics procurement processes with a proven track record in strategic negotiations and managing logistics costs
- Experience in working with various types of transportation (ocean, road, air, parcel)
- Fluent English
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment
