Nidec Corporation is a Japanese company founded in 1973, specialized in the development, manufacturing, and sales of small precision motors, automotive motors, home appliance motors, commercial and industrial motors, motors for machinery, electronic and optical components, and other related products. Nidec Electric Motor Serbia was established in Serbia in 2021. 

We are looking for:

  • An experienced Trading Specialist to join our Supply Chain team and support the efficient flow of materials, products, and information across the supply chain
  • A detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and driving operational performance through effective planning and coordination

Your responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze customer orders on a daily basis, ensuring accurate processing and timely response to demand fluctuations
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and order fulfillment with customers and production locations through SAP, email, and phone communication
  • Plan and optimize transportation flows between production sites, 3PL warehouses, and customers
  • Manage customs clearance processes for inbound and outbound shipments when required
  • Prepare transport, warehousing, customs, and related logistics cost projections
  • Initiate and monitor approvals for exceptional transportation costs
  • Generate reports related to production locations, logistics providers, inventory, and customer operations
  • Perform daily planning activities and support change management processes
  • Create production input plans and communicate customer requirements to manufacturing locations
  • Monitor inventory levels, goods in transit, and customer coverage to ensure uninterrupted supply
  • Manage packaging accounts and returnable packaging processes with customers
  • Participate in inventory counts and stock reconciliation activities
  • Drive achievement of logistics KPIs, including On-Time Delivery (OTD), Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO), Premium Freight, and other operational performance indicators

Our requirements:

  • University degree, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics or economics 
  • Experience in customer order management, transportation coordination, and inventory planning 
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, SAP experience is considered a significant advantage
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions
  • Intermediate level of English language proficiency
