Nidec Corporation is a Japanese company founded in 1973, specialized in the development, manufacturing, and sales of small precision motors, automotive motors, home appliance motors, commercial and industrial motors, motors for machinery, electronic and optical components, and other related products. Nidec Electric Motor Serbia was established in Serbia in 2021. 

We are looking for:

  • Experienced and motivated professional with a proven background in production engineering and process optimization
  • Proactive and responsible individual who can efficiency manage tasks, lead engineering team and contribute to operational excellence
  • Strong team player with good communication skills and ability to work closely with different departments

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate a team of Manufacturing Engineers on the development, improvement, and optimization of production processes
  • Drive continuous optimization of processes from incoming material flow to final product
  • Monitor, analyze, and improve key production KPIs (OEE, scrap rate, machine cycle time)
  • Measure process performance and implement short- and long-term corrective actions
  • Report key performance indicators (KPIs) to the Production Engineering Manager
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to implement technical improvements
  • Analyze process issues and develop solutions to improve efficiency and quality
  • Participate in production line design analysis and preparation of supporting documentation (FMEA, Control Plan, and other project-related documents)
  • Organize and manage machine and process validation activities
  • Oversee installation, setup, commissioning, testing, and ramp-up of new machines and equipment to achieve target OEE
  • Provide technical support to the Quality team for equipment calibration according to standards
  • Support Project Managers during the launch of new projects and improvement of existing ones
  • Monitor and coordinate maintenance activities for production machines and tools
  • Provide technical support in supplier selection
  • Train, support, and guide colleagues on production line processes
  • Prepare for and support internal and external audits

Our requirements:

  • VI or VII level of qualification in the field of technical sciences
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant field
  • Knowledge of CAD tools, ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and production-oriented environment
  • MS Office - Advanced level
  • Fluency in English language
