R&D Test Engineer Trainee

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop validation and test plans and perform laboratory tests
• Validations of performance of electric motors and/or electronics components (endurance tests, corrosion, vibration, dust tests, life cycle)
• Defining corrective measures in case of negative test results and making proposals for optimization of product design
• Review and documentation of costumer and performance specifications with regard to validation requirements
• Methodical brainstorming, schematics, drafts, calculation, and simulation of key properties with the involvement of specialists, design of load, tolerance, and production-compliant components, design, prototype creation, validation tests
• Usage of specific laboratory equipment (climatic chambers, durability chambers, acquisition system, tensile testing device, etc.)
• Cooperate closely with project management, platform design and other engineering functions

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in technical science
• Grade Point Average (GPA) during studies 8.5
• Fluent English language skills, German is an advantage
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
