Nidec Corporation is a Japanese company founded in 1973, specialized in the development, manufacturing, and sales of small precision motors, automotive motors, home appliance motors, commercial and industrial motors, motors for machinery, electronic and optical components, and other related products. Nidec Electric Motor Serbia was established in Serbia in 2021.
We are looking for:
- Proactive engineer with solid understanding of machining processes and manufacturing technologies
- Strong team player with good communication skills and ability to work closely with different departments
- Problem-solver focused on efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement
Your responsibilities:
- Oversee and optimize the production process, prepare and maintain technical documentation, and provide engineering support to manufacturing operations
- Coordinate all necessary preparations for the production of final and semi-finished products, as well as ensure the proper setup and utilization of production equipment
- Supervision of the complete production process in the machining area
- Standardization of production tools and equipment, preparation and updating of tool specifications required for the process
- Supervision of tools required for machining processes within the plant
- Participates in the preparation of FMEA, control plans, and technical manufacturing documentation
- Monitoring of project documentation, measures, and deadlines
- Planning and implementation of capability analyses
- Applies Lean methodology (Value Stream Analysis) to identify inefficiencies and defects in operations, aiming to improve overall efficiency
- Monitoring and improving main production KPIs (OEE, scrap)
- Participation in internal optimizations with a focus on continuous improvement
- Participation in layout preparation, plant packaging and material flow planning
- Close cooperation with other departments (Quality, Production, Logistics, and Maintenance)
- Providing technical support to operators in the machining center
- Organizing training for all team members involved in machining process activities
Our requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field
- 3 or more years of relevant work experience
- Good understanding of production documentation and technical standards
- Ability to provide technical support to production and ensure smooth workflow
- Knowledge of production equipment, tooling, and preparation processes for final and semi-finished products
- Strong problem-solving skills with focus on efficiency and quality
- Fluency in English language
