Project Buyer

We are looking for:
- Experienced purchasing professional
- Good communicator with developed negotiation skills
- Team player who is exciting to work in the global team
Your responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement process for project components from initial request to mass production
- Conduct tenders and evaluation processes for new project component suppliers, in collaboration with quality, logistics, and NMA procurement teams
- Cooperate with NMA and AMEC Global Buyers to identify and select the best source of supply for new components
- Looks for opportunities to reduce BOM component prices by making technical changes at the design stage VAVE
- Coordinate activities across departments to ensure timely supplier production start-up and sufficient quantities for mass production
- Drive cost reduction initiatives for production materials and components
- Coordinate and monitor component testing results with the quality department
- Negotiate and manage supplier agreements, including NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement), LON (Letter of Intent), and TMLA (Tooling Manufacturing and Loan Agreement), as well as supplier manuals
- Ensure accurate implementation of negotiated prices and alignment between supplier invoices and agreed terms
- Work with SQA/CE teams to improve supplier quality and process performance through regular communication and meetings
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all purchasing data within the SAP system
- Implement and comply with company purchasing procedures
Our requirements:
- University degree in Economics or Technical science
- 2 and more years of relevant work experience
- Ability to conduct trade negotiations
- Work experience in automotive industry will be considered as an asset
- Familiarity with SAP would be considered as an asset
- Knowledge of legal and financial regulations related to the purchasing process
- Knowledge of various manufacturing technologies
- MS Office – advanced level
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
