Purchasing Manager

We are looking for:
- Experienced professional with proven experience in direct and indirect purchasing
- Proactive and responsible person
- Leader with ability to work in multi-cultural environments
Your responsibilities:
- Responsible for direct and indirect purchasing
- Leading of the purchasing team
- Preparing local purchasing strategies in order to minimize the cost of goods and services
- Overseeing sourcing, purchasing, and negotiation process
- Preparing and implementing strategies aiming to reduce cost associated with BOM cost as well as other operation cost in the plant
- Control of QCD indicators (quality indicators, service indicator at plant level)
- Contributing to the launch of new projects from the purchasing side (controls cost levels, contact with suppliers, contracting)
- Making strategies and plans to improve operations and resources at supplier base
- Monitoring the implementation of agreements and negotiations between the supplier and Nidec
- Maintaining implementation of regular audits of suppliers
- Ensuring that sub-contractors are effectively managed and reviewed
- Reporting on indicators related to the purchasing process
Our requirements:
- Min 3 years of relevant work experience on similar positions
- Developed leadership skills
- Developed negotiations skills
- Developed analytical skills
- Understanding of full Supply Chain process
- Experience in automotive industry would be beneficial
- English language – advanced level
